Live in a block of flats with a shared ariel, new neighbours have moved in upstairs and since we have lost multiplex 2. Realised they must have a sky box and we want to tell them to retune to a different rf channel. cant seem to find what channels are free.

Ryan: A well-designed communal system shouldn't allow signals injected downstream of the split point to affect your reception. It's likely that it's coincidental, and reflects a problem with the system as a whole.

Digital UK rate the chances of reliable reception on Mux 2 as about the same as Mux 1 from both Rowridge (same probability, 82%) and Hannington (99% for Mux 1, 98% for Mux 2).

You can see a few suggested channels below the list of transmitters under 'My Settings' in the top-right corner of the page.

dave baber: Freesat and Freeview have different channels - see All free-to-watch channels | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice - you can use both if you want them all.

amy: You will probably have to replace the entire cable as a joint in the cable will probably reduce the signal level below what is acceptable for the receiver.

Mark Case: If you have checked all the connections and the picture is very good, there could be a fault with the sender or receiver. If this is the case, you will have to return it to the store for an (immediate) replacement.
