You can get the following Freeview channels on with an ex-contract digital satellite receiver (once it is connected). Items marked with a star require either a Freesat from Sky (fSfS) card, or a expired Sky subscription card to view.

gilly: You should check in the "Sound Settings" menu on the box to see if the sound has been turned down there. Also check in the same menu that your selected language is "English" and you don't have "" enabled.

im currently on + downstairs and there is all the wires to set up another box in my bedroom if i bought a sky+ box and off ebay will i get all the that i pay for down stairs thanks

leah: No, you won't. You will have to pay an additional "Multiroom" fee each month to have the same (and also the ability to record/pause/play).

Q. I have an unsubscribed sky box that I can get 1-5 and sky news on. I have a digi box that records and want to use it in conjunction with the sky box as no outside ariel. On advice I bought a double socket as my tv has only one. I still can't get the digi box to work and it will only send images shooting sideways across screen. Is it possible to do what I am attempting? Many thnaks in advance for response
