Briantist: Cheers for the Redruth map. Certainly confirms by guess about the southern restriction, but so much easier when is visual than reading the tables and figures. Guess Helston was always going to be needed as part of the long term strategy.

Hi again Briantist,
I live in Hinckley, Leicestershire and would like the radiation patterns for DAB please. Getting it here is a bit hit any miss so the patterns would help greatly.
thanks.
matt.

Mike Dimmick: Yes, I know they are not showing the correct output... The problem isn't radians, as the function is
google.maps.geometry.spherical.computeOffset
from Google Maps Javascript API V3 Reference - Google Maps JavaScript API V3 - Google Code .

Jm F: Thanks for pointing out the missing "0.1" in the maths, I knew the problem would be there somewhere. I have corrected the map at the top of the page and it now shows the correct shape.
I think I might just compare the generated maps against the Ofcom/BBC/Arqiva plots in the recent consultation to work out a suitable "edge" value.

Chris Heard: The corrected map is better shaped. Not sure about the range at the moment...

The Kilvey Hill map now looks right. I get a good signal across the water, suggesting little or no attenuation to the south - maybe intended as "compensation" for the uncertaintly of regional DAB reception...
