Hello, We have SKY+HD in th main room which is connected to a signal splitter in the attic sending the signal to two other tv's. I have noticed today we have lost the signals to the thw two other TV's, I have checked the connections and retuning but with no joy. Could this be because of the switchover......the main TV has freeview and automatic retuning which has been completed twice.....is it possible that the upgrade has overridden the faicility to "share" the signal or could it be the age of the other two TV's ,whiare 10yrs+.
Thank you

I live in southern Croaia, have a 75cm dish and a Samsung Box which is 6 years old. We get several free satellite channels including sky news, cnn (BBC News has now gone)QVC Shopping and a good range of BBC Radio. Recently Sky News has very bad picture breakup and sound is intermittent, the same with CNN so we basically dont have a good English News Channel to watch anymore. We are tuned in to Astra 2 and wonder if the Samsung Box we have does not have the new technology built in to receive programmes. We thought we might receive some BBC or ITV programmes but looks like this is only a dream. Do you think one of the new Freesat Boxes would help with what we receive and would this possibly restore Sky News.

Annie: You need a larger dish, perhaps as large as 2 meters.
A new set-top box will not pull in any additional channels, but a bigger dish will.

Just had installed Sky+HD with "Extra room" and have bought a Thompson Sky HD+ to use in place of the Digi box in the "Extra room".
But it will not show anything but BBC 1/2 even though the Install appeared successful.
Suggestions on a card to the WEB pls
