Frank: Yes, the feeds are identical so you can operate a second box and/or run another cable from a vacant port on your LNB.

Frank: No because they are all the same.

Shotgun cable is simply two cables moulded together. It would have worked just the same had two separate cables been used.

Settle

Hi we were among the first to go digital and it made a really positive difference to our signal. Since the neighboring area which was one of the last to make the change switched we have been experiencing issues with the loss of signal especially in the recent poor weather. Can you tell me why this is and whether we are likely to see any improvement soon. It's really frustrating and I don't want to have to pay for Sky or similar when I already have what I need.

Katherine: You are indicated as being located at approximately 35 miles away from the Winter Hill transmitter and with the terrain between both you and the transmitting station seen to be of a nature that's liable to cause problems to an RF signal, and of course the naturally occurring seasonal atmospheric changes will always affect reception to a greater extent if its being received over a distance, therefore rather than concentrate on the possible causes of your particular problem I would advise that you carry out a check with some of your neighbours for purposes of ascertaining if they are also experiencing problems of a similar nature to yourself, because if they are then the problem is out with your control and with Freesat possibly being the only way to get over this type of problem.

A newspaper report today (01/02/13)says that
BT are to launch a Sports Channel in the
Summer,with Premier League football,Rugby,and
800 hours of WTA tennis. If these are exclusive
rights, there will be many disappointed fans
who have taken out contracts with other
providers for these particular sports.Does
anyone have more details on this, please?

Why has RT been spoiled by the taking of advertising between their programmes and has meant the end of the world wide weather check because their space has been taking over by commercials for the UK audience? Is this also due to happen to Aljaceras which would mean advertising on virtually every non BBC channel?
