For the last six years, I have answered many thousands of personal emails that you have sent to UK Free TV.
Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.
Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.
I look forward to your questions!

My Sony Freeview box has stopped working since last night. Seems like a lot of us are having the same problem :(

Jo: we've had San problem since yesterday 19th too with Sony HDX970. Exactly the same problem as everyone else describes. only way we've managed to get any channels is to remove aerial from booster which gives a lot less channels and is poor quality but as soon as we reconnect it properly it updates but then freezes.

Jo: Same problem with Sony recorder. Went to Sony Woking Sat 20/7 a.m. Told problem was firm called 80800 checking 4g signals which interfered with freeview & would hopefully only last 4-5 days.
Tried all sorts of ways to find 80800 on google - no result.

Jon: This may interest you:
What is 4G and who are at800, and will it cause me interference?
at800_4G
Mobile phone operators are preparing fourth-generation (4G) networks to
provide customers with faster wireless broadband.
Where these services are provided they may interfere with Freeview reception. A new company, at800, has been set up by the mobile operators to provide filters and other assistance to households where TV reception is affected.
The company behind at800 is Digital Mobile Spectrum Ltd (DMSL). Viewers can find out more by visiting the at800 website.

Victoria: The Sony box issue has absolutely NOTHING to do with 4G, because it's affecting the whole country.
Jon: I would phone Sony Woking and explain to them that are they are talking shit, and that it's happening to people across the country.
There is a thread on another forum with an apparent temporary "fix": AVForums.com - View Single Post - Sony 870 (and all Sony HXD) DVD Recorders - No Freeview

Michael: I appreciate what you say but I was merely referring Jon to the correct website information as 80800 is incorrect and he can find more information about 4G on at800, which is the correct site.
