We have one satellite TV decoder but three television sets but each person wants to watch different channels at the same time on the different televisions. I've been told this is possible if you use a frequency modulator, a combiner, an amplifier and a splitter. How does this work.

Amos: sadly you have been misinformed.
If you want to watch different channels on different television sets you need a satellite decoder for each.
Freesat boxes are not expensive.
But each needs a connection to your dish and you might need a new four or eight output lnb on the dish.
The biggest expense will probably be the installation cost.

TMC - more likely that there is either a fault with your new TV or you are not pressing the right buttons.
Are you sure it is digital?
There is probably a help number on the instructions if it is new

DAB transmitters appear to be undergoing major works, judging by the frequent switch-offs. This may well be planned upgrades within the framework of further DAB roll-out. But does anyone know specifically what work is being undertaken?

Pat: The model number might be useful for us to give assistance, if we can locate the user manual online.
However, the reference to "fuzzy screen" suggests that it might be in analogue mode rather than digital mode.

Pat you haven't by chance pressed the digital/analogue button by mistake have you? If you are on the analogue setting you might get a fuzzy screen.
