Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Redruth (Cornwall, England) mast?

No problems on any service. BBC

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Simon Van Hear: In response to your question "Who is this???"

I would have thought that you would have been able to answer your question by searching the internet...

"Digital One" is the national commercial multiplex operator:

NOW Digital is the operator of the local Cornwall and Plymouth multiplex:

johng: DAB here has been good now for over a week; had email from BBC saying that fault at transmitter had been fixed and everyone now reports good reception.

Been good for me, just in time for the Ashes.
Thanks to everyone for doing the calling, monitoring and chasing up.

There are no reported problems with the transmitter - so I suggest you both check your wiring, etc.

DAB reception in Tregony, NE Truro, has gone AWOL. We receive a poor signal generally, but no alternative as we have invested in 2 DAB radios, and an attic antenna extension.

Has reception dropped ? Is there a problem with the transmitters ?

Well, it looks as though Planet Rock is about to disappear from Cornwall. As we are an official minority, do we have a case for discrimination?
Seriously, does anyone know if the new channel 11A is ever going to be transmitted from Redruth?
