I have also lost my 14 day EPG. The 8-day has gone as well. I have re-booted and re-scanned all to no avail. Any suggestions welcome.

Wendy: I doubt Top UP TV will update the 14 day guide now that they've closed down, so your only option is to stick with the 8 day guide for now and see if it works.

Transponder/Multiplex frequency question.

Have a USB DVB-T 'dongle' - and I'm struggling to use it with LINUX. -anyway -

to verify it still works in some capacity, I need to input some data into VLC's capture device -
Transponder/Multiplex frequency [1000kHz increments]
Bandwidth [1.72,5,6,7,8,10]
(I'm receiving from winterhill NW UK)

Hi I have a Top Up TV box that since they have stopped broadcasting has lost it's extended TV Guide and therefore although I can still pause live TV I can't record anything. Does anyone know if it's possible to be able to get a TV guide on there or do I have no choice other than to buy a new Freeview box?

Last week I lost all the program synopsis data. It still showed what program was on each channelbut with no info about the programs. Also it only showedthe programs for the next three days. Now it has lost the program data completely. I have no idea what can have happened. I can still watch all channels but as there is no program data I cannot record anything. Any ideas please?

Wendy update to my problem I changed the setting on the Freeview number of days listing from 14 to 8 days. I then got the program information displayed. Maybe my digihome box
is getting a little tired.

Dawn, Sue, Christine: This issue has affected Top Up TV users and the solution is to change the setting from 14 day EPG (electronic programme guide) to 8 day EPG.

hello,
for the last month i have been successfully using my mum's old sky+ box and white viewing card to watch and record free channels without a subscription! (she got a new hd box and card). However the other night it suddenly stopped working and said 'no signal'. I couldn't figure if sky has sent the "kill record" signal and it has hit home, although I thought I would be able to still watch free channels if so? I've tried all the unplugging/ resetting etc. I know it's not my dish as my sisters old box works to view (not record). Is it simply that the old box has kicked the bucket? thank you!
