The BBC's new weather forecast map is rubbish.
Nothing wrong with the old one. But it had to change because some board of a company getting a contract to supply the BBC with maps wants to make millions by revamping the way things are done ( with inferior results by the way) Terrible.

Well things have already changed by the looks of it as their new map isn't as good as the last one that they have had for years.
They way I understand it the Met office will still be supplying the data.
It is just that the contract had to be put out to tender due to E.U. rules, so it will all go through a middleman company thus making it more expensive in the long run, less efficient and with inferior results.
