Robert:
Both MikeB and I have considerable experience with TV services, either in a technical or sales/marketing capacity. I've spend 50 years working in the TV industry and that includes operforming emissions testing on TV sets, etc. There are strict rules about what and how much can be radiated from a TV set and any sold to the general public MUST comply with those rules, especially those covering X-Rays and Gamma Rays. Modern LED/LCD TV sets radiate far less X-Ray emissions that did the older CRT sets. Carcinogenic electromagnetic radiations are strictly controlled and any television receiver or transmitter that exceeds these limits would be removed from the market or switched off. You have lived with electromagnetic radiations all around you since you were born, they have been radiated since the days of 2LO (1920's) but they are all at levels below those recommended by health authorities throughout the world. Souces of EMR include radio, TV, mobile phones, microwave communications, and many others. None exceed the required limits.

Spoken like a true industry spokesperson.
Remember that Steve Jobs didn't let his kids use an iPad, probably because he knew (as do I) that practically every bit of tech getting made in China has paperwork saying whatever it needs to say to get
Passed for various regulations so it can be sold.
Ever wonder why manufacturing gets shipped abroad? As well as being cheaper, it also gets liability sent far away as well. Anyone would have a hard job investigating corruption in China as they would risk their life in doing so.
You two really put too much faith and confidence in the system.
Feel free to live and die in ignorance.

Please accept that some of us know more of this subject than you do. I am not a 'spokesperson' for the industry, especially as I retired a few years ago and now study advanced physics. My wife happens to be a senior medical practitioner and I take her advice on matters such as this.
Enough said.

SINCE you don't know anything about me or my background, You assume too much in your know it all arrogance.
It is worth noting that as I write this a bridge in Miami, Florida has collapsed as well as the BBC news reporting that the Grenfell flats fire had fire doors fitted that didn't offer the write level of protection, BOTH
INCIDENTS will have had passed so called strict building regulations. TRY AND ARGUE WITH THAT!
Regulations ain't worth the non absorbent paper they are printed on.
Its not conspiracy theory , its lefty, BBC news FACT.
ALL industries are affected by corrupt paperwork, why not the T.V. Manufacturers?
As for your wife, she will toe the N.I.C.E. and health boards official line or she will be ousted.

Says the person who bothered to comment.
I noted you haven't ACTUALLY disproved any of my claims just avoided them.
Speaks volumes that.
