I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?
Brian Butterworth published on UK Free TV The problem could be one of:
- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

I have a samsung tv with freeview buit in. Lost All tv channels last night about 8pm tried retuning and resetting tv.

Please give a full post code as requested above the text entry box you used. That will enable us to identify which of the over 1100 transmitters you should be using and hence whether there are any know problems with it at your location.
Retuning was the worst thing you could have done as you have now lost all the settings for the channels you had before.

I have a tv with built in free view and bought an internal Ariel which has a range of 15 miles. I live in Temple Ewell about 7 miles from our transmitter but I am still not getting any signal. Any ideas what's wrong? Thanks

Helen: Without knowing the signal strength from the transmitter at your location it's impossible to say if an indoor aerial will work. Most of them consist of little more than a piece of wire sticking out of an amplifier and will only work in areas with a strong signal. If you provide a full postcode we'll be able to see your predicted coverage and offer specific advice.

My reception on most channels, BBC 1,2,3 4,9, 19,Ch 4 etc. is good but for ITV6, RT, LBC Radio (perhaps others that I don't watch) is terrible with pixellation, crackly sound so unwatchable.
This has been happening for the past year so was OK before.
Now sometimes I move the indoor aerial (high outside aerial had same problems but obviously couldn't move it around) and can get RT OK but the BBC channels are then unwatchable! It would seem to me that the problem channels are just too weak - have they been weakened?
Every day I have to move the aerial to a different position to watch those same channels I did the day before!

To offer any meaningful suggestions it is essential that your provide us with a full post code for your location. There are over 1100 transmitters around the UK so you could be using any of them.
One thing you can check is the reported signal strengths shown by your television. Go to the manual tuning option and check the signal strengths shown but DO NOT RETUNE. Ideally the strengths shopuld be betwee 60% and 85%, any stronger will cause pixilation, etc.

I have recently lost all of my digital tv channels. At the same time Vodafone have erected a cell phone mast very close to my home. So far they are ignoring my complaint that this is the cause. I live in G775TQ.

Paul James Smith: You should contact the AT800 organisation (https://at800.tv/) who can provide you with a free plug-in filter to block out any interference from 4G mobile services operating in the 800MHz band formerly used for Freeview transmissions.
