Maggie: No it doesn't get switched off overnight. If you are loosing signal at the same time every night then it's quite likely that you are suffering with electrical interference from something either in your home or nearby (such as a neighbour's house or something outside) operating on a timer.

Did you mean TV or Radio as this is the DAB radio page, but just the same, as StevensOnln1 says.
Do you have Economy 7? That time of night could be when it switches any heating/water heating on, could be a faulty thermostat. When does the signal return?
