Meirion jenkins:Hi, Meirion. Yes, Digital UK does indeed say that you should be using the Cefn Mawr relay transmitter. The main group of high -definition (HD) channels is transmitted on UHF channel 60 which is a channel that could suffer from 4G interference. If it is this group of channels that is causing you problems you need to contact the 4G interference people who are called 'at800'. This organisation will send you a FREE filter to put in-between your aerial lead and your television. Their website address is here for you:

Jim Davidson: Hi, Jim. Have you thought about installing a VHF-FM aerial in your loft or on the roof, directed at Sandale? I have a two element half-wave dipole in my living room to pick up BBC Radio 4 FM from Tacolneston in Norfolk. It cost me 25 from ATV Aerials, Sheffield and improved reception enormously above the distorted sound I used to get using indoor wire aerials as opposed to the thick rod aerial I'm using now! mick:Hi, Mick. I have checked Digital UK which says you should use Sutton Coldfield (West Midlands) or Waltham on the Wolds (near Melton Mowbray) (East Midlands). Since you have already stated that you cannot receive from Waltham on the Wolds, your only realistic alternative for you to get the East Midlands region is to invest in a Freesat installation which requires a satellite dish, satellite cabling and a tv set that has a Freesat receiver - most tvs only have Freeview, not Freesat, although Panasonic is a good brand for Freesat. Carole Hughes: Hi, Carole. In order for you to receive Talking Pictures TV, you will need to re-align your television aerial from The Wrekin to Sutton Coldfield. Sutton Coldfield is East-South-East from your postcode. You will obviously need to take extreme care and caution when climbing up on to your roof to do this. It is recommended that you put sacks of straw or hay on the roof tiles before you crawl over them so that you do not damage any of the roof tiles. You are probably using a wideband aerial which will probably be OK for Sutton Coldfield. Richard, Norwich.

J. English : Hi, J English. Digital UK is reporting, " a possible weak signal" from Sandy Heath today and so it is possible that some engineering works are currently taking place. Whether transmitter engineering or atmospherics it is simply a waiting game if your own installation is in 'A1' condition. Richard, Norwich.

Peter Andrew: Hi, Peter. Smooth & Heart are transmitted on the Somerset local multiplex at 1200 watts, whereas BBC Radio 2 on the BBC National multiplex is transmitted at 5000 watts. Magic ought to be as strong as BBC R2 because the D1 multiplex is also at 5000 watts. Richard, Norwich.
