Below are all of John Fisher's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. Its been a strange time for me as though I receive my signal from Belmont(Look North) I had an online message saying I should rescan to get the BBC Red Button and my Panasonic Freeview recorder stated there were new channels available and the scan reported it had found over 90 new channels.
Today it again reported new channels were available and this time I kept a watch on the scan and noted that while some channels were found with the maximum 10 strength, 30,48,66,68,60 and 57 some were shown with only 1 and I noted one was 45 so I am wondering if I am picking up another region.
Thanks

I am considering a new Freeview HD recorder, for the switch in August, and have spotted a Panasonic one that has two Freeview tuners.
What I would like to know is will it need two aerial connections as with Sky and Freesat dual tuner boxes.
Thanks

Briefly mentioned this before but have now seen it for myself and hoping for some advice.
Visited a friend yesterday to confirm what he had told me.
His freesat box is set up with the correct post code PE15 8QJ, which is March in Cambs,
and he gets ITV1 Anglia on 103 but on 101 he gets BBC1 London for his local progs.
We both think he should be getting BBC1 East on 101.
Any ideas please.
Thanks

Thanks jb38
The reason I went there yesterday was to make sure he had the correct postcode in the setup.
The box had originally been setup by the dealer but on advice a factory reset was done with the same result.
The confusing thing is that he gets the correct ITV1 local area.
I was wondering about using another postcode and a you mention this I will suggest this to him.
Thanks again

Chatteris
Just been visited by a friend who has Freesat.
He has postcode PE16 8QJ (March Cambs) but receives London BBC on 101 for the local news but Anglia on 103.
BBC East would be expected on 101, or should it, so could anyone advise please.
Thanks
John
