Mike Myers: You won't lose any channels because CH56 is earmarked for new local services only at some point in the future, although bear in mind this may not come about
Hope this helps,
Adam.

rickety: Your TV is "HD Ready". That means it is capable of displaying a full HD picture from a source such as a SKY HD box or a Freeview HD settop box. It does not have a DVB-T2 tuner (Freeview HD), and therefore it cannot, by itself, receive a freeview HD signal from the transmitter.
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Desmond:
UHF Channel to Mhz - CH * 8 + 306
Example - UHF CHannel 21 * 8 = 168 + 306 = 474
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Dawn:
I had exactly the same problem as you. Clear down everything your box/tv has stored (one way to do this is a full scan/install with the aerial lead removed - switch off all connected equipment before plugging/unplugging the aerial lead). Then put the lead back in and do a manual scan of the Oxford frequencies (the Oxford transmitter page on this website will tell you these)
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Tanya Ann: Are you sure your aerial is pointed to Emley Moor and not the Skipton Town transmitter? The Skipton Town transmitter does not carry a full Freeview service.
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Mike Foster: There is a further retune event for The Wrekin transmitter this coming Wednesday (28/9/11). Retune on this date sometime after 6AM, and all will probably be OK, as there is a power up event taking place at the same time.
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Chris: As from this Wednesday (28/9/11) you should be able to receive HD channels once you have retuned - Don't know what time the relays start the service, but by the end of the day you should be OK.
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Eric Half Bee: For any given transmitter Challenge is on Mux C only (therefore only one version per transmitter). It looks like your TV/Box is picking up Mux C from another transmitter as well. If you are in the Central or Yorkshire regions switchover has been occuring throught September, and power levels on transmitters has been increased which explain the transmitter overlap effect. A manual retune frequency by frequency should fix this.
Hope this helps,
Adam.

Steve: Kings Weston is the best transmitter for you. However, because you are so close, maybe the signal is too strong and is swamping your receiver. Remove any boosters etc that you may have in your system. If there are no boosters, etc, try a variable attenuator, or another approach is to try an indoor aerial to see if this will get a signal for you.
Hope this helps,
Adam.
