Try a manual tune on C50, ensuring that you enter DVB-T2 if prompted to make such a choice. As a matter of interest did you receive Film4 and ITV4 prior to May? - as these two services were carried on C50 until the frequency for ArqB changed to C39 on 1st May in order to free up C50 for the HD channels.

Briantist: I can't remember where I saw it, but Ridge Hill transmits Central West news. As you say the DUK map shows Oxford as part of the Central region as it is still officially included in the Central licence but DUK does also mention that viewers will receive Meridian news. Wikipedia has details of the short lived Thames Valley region which used to transmit from Hannington and Oxford. This region was then amalgamated with Meridian South for news coverage, but interestigly it is still mentioned online with up to date news stories.

SABEL: For ITV3 from Oxford transmitter manual tune C50.(For ITV and ITV2 manual tune C60-) If you have cleared the channel list of old data, or deleted the original channel positions before re-tuning the services should be stored in the normal (LCN) positions in the channel list when channels are stored.

sam: Basically, no as the frequencies that a satellite dish is designed to receive are completely different to those used by Freeview TV which requires a UHF aerial, preferably roof mounted. Similarly DAB radio uses bandIII VHF and FM radio bandII VHF, much lower frequencies than those picked up (intentionally) by a satellite dish

Adrian: Without knowledge of your location, preferably by way of a postcode for yourself or a nearby shop/public building, it is not possible to check the predicted reception anticipated by DUK, thereby being able to possibly give further advice. All I can say, is that the reception of Bluebell Hill in a number of locations around Southend is shown as variable suggesting that either the terrain is difficult in some areas, or interference from distant transmitters could be experienced.

d lewis: ITV broadcast an apology after Emmerdale for "picture problems" being experienced by satellite viewers.

Nick: It is most unlikely that the inversion effect has caused the loss of PSB2 from Sutton Coldfield, as any such conditions over the West Midlands have been very short lived so far. It is worth checking that your receiver is actually tuned to the Sutton Coldfield frequencies, as there are a number of other transmitters available at your location that could have been tuned in instead. If the correct frequencies have been selected, notably C46 for PSB2, check cables and connectors are in order. Also try repositioning any fly leads or HDMI cables relative to the tuner and each other, in case there is any interaction between them. If the ITV signal is weaker than the others, or the quality lower, slight repositioning of the aerial might offer a solution.

Nick: I should have also said that the aerial should point NNW for Sutton Coldfield. NE is closer to Waltham or Leamington Spa, the latter being vertically polarised and Freeview Lite!

Martin: C55 is used at Tacolneston for PSB1. There is moderate tropospheric ducting predicted currently for the East Midlands/East Anglia area, so it is quite likely that you are receiving signals which are travelling slightly further than normal.

alimahomed: If you normally receive BBC East Midlands from the Waltham transmitter, the frequency of mux BBCA has changed to C49. Try to do a manual tune for C49. Is there any signal indicated, and if so what is the quality if frequency C49 is entered into the manual tuning menu? If there is no signal found and you use a communal aerial it may be that adjustments are needed to let the new frequency through. (Ask your neighbours if anyone is having the same problem.) In that case you would need to contact the landlord or building management company for that to be carried out.
