Below are all of KMJ, Derby's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Clint: ESPN is carried on the SDN multiplex which is on C58 from Winter Hill. You will not receive C54, which is the HD mux unless you have a TV or Freeview HD box that supports DVB-T2. Incidentally if the signal from Wales is strong enough to give stable reception you should also receive ESPN on the SDN Wales frequency.

lou: The Digital UK postcode checker predicts that you should be able to receive all six muxes with good reception from Darvel. For best results from Darvel a group A aerial is required, mounted for horizontal polarisation and pointing SSE. There is no prediction made for reception from Rosneath.

Helen: Check in the 800s of the channel list for BBC channels that work. Did you do a factory reset to erase all memory of the original channels? It is also possible that you are storing Belmont channels first before finding those from Waltham.

Chris Gilbert: If you supply your postcode a check can be made of which transmitters can be received in your area. It would appear that you are receiving signals from Wenvoe, which you will need to do for reception of a full Freeview service. However you might be able to receive additionally signals from a local relay supplying BBC West news. Taking a couple of Williton postcodes as a reference, Washford would appear to be the most likely relay transmitter which would offer a BBC West service on C59.

David: Belmont has always been available in most of Derbyshire (including Derby) and West Yorkshire since the start of UHF transmissions from there. Analogue BBC1 was on C22, so was found first when tuning in a TV or VCR. It was up to the viewer whether it was stored on button 1 or a "spare", or simply ignored.

whitbread: If you are using the Emley Moor transmitter however, HD will be available at high power from 21st September 2011, or for Waltham the date is 31st August 2011.

John Smyth: The Digital UK postcode checker shows that if you are using the Banbridge relay transmitter you will have good reception on the 3 PSB muxes (this is a Freeview light transmitter). It also predicts that you should currently receive 5 muxes with good reception from the Divis transmitter- with the correct aerial. After switchover you are predicted to have good reception on all six muxes when receiving signals direct from Divis.

john: What is your postcode?- so a check can be made for which transmitters (and which muxes) are likely to be available in your area.
