I live in Harlow, CM18, I too have the same problem. All down to Crystal Palace broadcasting freeview HD on CH 31. Should impove on April 12th when CP HD moves to CH 30. Will get even better on May 9th when SDN from Sandy goes to CH 51 and power increases to 170Kw.

JB38: Have just seen your post re: channels changing on 19th September. I have an Icecrypt Freeview box which "agrees" with your changes. Strange thing is though the integrated tuner on my TV says I am still for example getting Dave on 19 and Yesterday on 12. This applies to EPG & channel selected, not a worry but most peculiar.

JB38: Full details: Postcode CM18 6SR, wideband aerial and 16 to 26 db variable amp, set at midpoint where it has always been. According to my Icecrypt box signal strength & quality circa 90% on all muxes. Icecrypt box ok, but then I can manually tune that whereas TV auto only. TV is a Bush LT26M. Did a retune as you suggested. All the channels are there but they are all, except PSB2Ch24, in the 800-900 range. Have tried varying amp gain and even bypassing it but to no avail. Have also reset TV as suggested but to no avail. Curiouser & curiouser. Any suggestions, have no real problems as I can use the Icecrypt as my tuner which I do most of the time.

JB38: Sorry it is only PSB2 that is in the correct place. ITV at 3 is the start of my EPG.All other channels are in 800-900 range. I only have 10 channels on what I would consider my normal EPG range.

There are not many you View boxes about. Humax DTR T1000 is one costs about £279. BT & Talk Talk are offering them "free". Terms and conditions apply of course I imagine.

I have the best of all worlds. Have an Icecrypt Freeview HD Box as the integrated tuner in my Bush TV is cr*p. Also have a Humax Freesat HD box. This can be switched between Freesat & non-Freesat so will pick up all the Sky FTA channels. Only drawback is no logical EPG and it is not possible, unless someone knows better, to pick up the FTV channels. Someone needs to produce a combined Freeview & Sky reciever, but I guess Sky would veto that.

Are there any proposals to increase the power on the com 7 Multiplex to the same level as the PSB & com 4-6? Reception I get on com 7 Channels is variable at times, pixellation & drop out.
I have tried pointing the aerial to Crystal Palace but with much the same effect. I am limited to a loft aerial and amplifier which does not help. My postcode is CM18-6SR
Presents no real problem as I can watch BBC News & BBC 4 HD on my Freesat.

Wonder whether anyone can help. I've got an old Sky HD box. I've given it to my partner and she would like to use it with a Freesat Card from Sky.
Only problem is she would like to know what will be her default BBC and ITV region.
Have spoken to Sky and been passed from pillar to post. All we are told is it will be the appropriate region for the postcode.
Is there anywhere I can look up default regions for a postcode, Sky tell me this is controlled by BBC and ITV.
Post code in question is CM1 4YJ.

I live in Harlow CM18, a fringe area for Sandy, and had the same problem with SDN-CH31. However since 29th September I can now get SDN-CH31, signal strength & quality about 50% each. Have made no changes to my system, will have to wait 'til the weather turns cooler to see whether it is down to atmospherics or changes that have been made that have not been publicised. May try Steve's "magic shield" if problem recurs.
