It took years to get Channel 4, decades to get Channel 5 and with no warning or wait we now have Film4
with more HD channels to follow.
Done the retune and can't see any reduction in picture quality.
Now all they need to do is squeese in ITV3, ITV4, cITV etc.

Digital UK will reconsider the introduction of substitution late 2014 or early 2015.
Wished subtitles and text/red button was on HD as well as SD channels.
Will we need to upgrade our boxes if they add them?

I am trying to find the BBC red button channel.
On Sky (with or without a card) there is no EPG number for the red button or it is not on 987.
If you wish to view it when there is no link (BBCi page 100) then:
Press SERVICES, 4, 4
Frequency; 11.773 (GHz)
Polarisation; Horizontal
Symbol rate; 22.0 (Mbaund)
FEC; 5/6
Press 'Find channels' and tick
6390 = BBC red button (301)
But this channel has no sound.
Eutelsat 28A & Astra 1N/2A/2F at 28.2°E - LyngSat lists it as 10773 H, 22000-5/6
Dose anybody know the new frequency?

Mike. The above map shows a new DAB transmitter opening in the future by Crawley station.
I think it's out by a few feet as it is placed in a back garden and not on top of the station tower block.

There is some more information about this satellite on the Astra web site at; Astra 2E Satellite at 28.2° East, channels & frequencies
Gives satelite foot print info and BBC moving to this satellite. (RH163LB)

Thank you for the radio circuit diagram.
I will have to modify it, as my car uses a 12 volt battery.
The 3 volt radio might blow up with 12 volts.
I will have to run 4 radios in series. Quadraphonic radio?

If they put cBBC/BBC3 and BBC News on BBC-B, will there be room for the BBC HD red button feed. (Channel 303)
Will it move to COM7 or COM8, or will it end on Freeview?
