Just a bit unfortunate that neither the Black Hill or Darvel transmitter reach far enough west...

Ford: Craigkelly has not changed any of its UHF channel numbers since the switchover in June 2011. Arq B on UHF 47 will be coming from Black Hill.

Jim Cassidy: Assuming the postcode is approx BT53 7DH, Step 1: Check Coverage | SAORVIEW says 298 degrees
Postcode Checker - Detailed View says 289 degrees, so the installers are probably right.
At least with the help scheme you can get back in touch with them if it doesn't work!

Nigel: Do you receive channel 11 (PickTV) or channel 15 (Film4) at the moment? Did you receive them before the switchover?

Charles Stuart: you don't have to do anything if you don't want to, I decided to not retune my TV after the 19th September and it still works with the old channels numbers!
You don't need to retune separately, as it all changes at the same time and the non-HD devices just won't pick up HD channels.

Peter Henderson: No, a DVB-T tuner won't pick up the DVB-T2 NI mux (just like a 2k tuner won't pick up the new 8k signal).
I have seen a Freeview manual box with DVB-T/MPEG2 for picture and MPEG4 for audio so you may well be correct.

Jill, it would be better if you left your own postcode, but from one I found in Ballynahinch then you should be able to pick up the NI mux after switchover - Postcode Checker - Detailed View
However you will need Freeview HD equipment to get RTE.
