You would be best installing Freesat+ and not Freeview if you wanted access to additional channels.

Jeff Boyle: Last time I checked, the TV Licence goes towards the BBC channels and since you still have those, your comment about the licence is a bit pointless!
But if you actually want to solve your problem, get in touch with at800 as Dave says - they will tell you definitely whether 4G is the problem. If not, Freeview reception, unless it is external interference, is your responsibility.
Go to Contact at800 / DMSL | General Enquiries | at800 and phone them tomorrow.

dand: If you still have a dish, why go out and buy an aerial and Freeview box? You've should've just used your old Sky box to watch Freesat.
When you say you got an aerial, I presume you mean an indoor one? Indoor aerials don't normally work unless you are in a strong signal area - Freeview is designed for outdoor aerials.

jamie stevens: If you're that bothered, why not get in touch with Ofcom or Digital UK? That's where this site gets its information from, and it seems like the postcode checker only has Com7 on HP.

Dan: Have you previously had more channels at your location on the aerial you are using?

Dick Crabtree: You probably don't get HD due to a lack of Freeview HD equipment. And if you want to split the signal to 3 TV, normally you'd used a splitter, and maybe an amplifier.
I am curious though - do you know which transmitter do you receive your signal from? If not, go to the signal strength option or manual tuning option in the menu, when on both BBC1 and then STV - look for the UHF channel number or frequency.
Presumably you're not allowed a satellite dish either?

Mike: According to the Digital UK tradeview link on the right of your post, you should get a good signal on COM7. In the end you may need a wideband aerial, but it's up to you whether you want to wait until 10th December to see what happens.

Ken Campbell: As you've said it's been going on for a while it is definitely not 4G, so don't waste time worrying about it.
