Barbara Hill (your name is on the website now): If the 1800MHz band affected Freeview, you and the rest of the country would have noticed it when 3G was introduced years ago.
I'm curious as to how you know for sure that EE started up 4G in your area, given EE have operated in various city and urban areas for months in the 1800MHz band?
EE don't offer you filters, because they aren't responsible for them. If you are really that bothered, get in touch with at800.

adam: According to Radio & Television Service (I used the postcode for Falmouth cricket club) there are no problems with the Penryn transmitter.
Presumably, you have spoken to many neighbours who receive Freeview light from this transmitter and you all do not have any TV?

John: If you have a communal aerial it may need to be adjusted by the owner, especially if others on the same aerial are having problems picking up the BBC channels - check with neighbours if you can.
You won't get a refund on your TV licence as you have still been operating television receiving equipment to watch live TV.

Simon27: If you haven't retuned the TV it will still be tuned in to UHF channel 46 from Bluebell Hill, which as you say is not going to give you a good signal in Dartford. This confirms the predictions of the Digital UK postcode checker and of the green areas in the map above.
You may get a slightly better SE signal by turning your aerial, but it's never going to be as good as the Crystal Palace transmitter to the west, which is what you will pick up should you retune.

Martin Cooper: 4G tests in Brighton started in mid-May...
