Just pointing out it could be that, as I don't know his exact location.

Caroline Burgess: You are thinking about paying for Sky because your Freeview recorder doesn't work? If you had to buy a new car but couldn't afford an exotic sportscar, surely you would just buy a cheaper car, similar to your old one? If you need a replacement box, just get a Freeview+ recorder.
Only thing I can suggest is checking the menus for any option that might affect the time, and perhaps try to reset the box back to factory settings if possible.

Ian Stewart: According to Digital terrestrial television in Bulgaria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - "Standards chosen are DVB-T and MPEG4 AVC/H.264 compression format. DVB-T2 will not be used for now."
Basically, as Freeview in the UK uses DVB-T and MPEG2, it would seem your TV only has MPEG4 capabilities to decode the sound and not the picture.

Syd Wall: From memory of Humax boxes, go into the installation menu, then default setting and do a scan for channels - but when it finishes, choose delete all. Go back to the installation menu and then manual search - and put in numbers 23 26 30 41 44 and 47.

Syd Wall: Normally this problem occurs when it picks up a weaker signal on a low UHF channel and assigns it to the guide in the correct place - but there's no other UHF I can see that would do that.
Did you notice which UHF channels were assigned to the poorer BBC1 and ITV channels before you retuned?

Every UK transmitter will provide you with 5 HD channels, it's only if you want to get the new HD channels (BBC4, Al Jazeera HD etc) that you will need to check coverage.

Malcolm Cave: There is no such thing as a "TV onics DV3". Have a look on the bottom or back of the box for a model number, and type it into google.

Andrew Brown: You posted the same question 5 days ago without reply. Presumably there's no one on here using those transmitters, and if there are indeed problems, you should let the BBC/Arquiva/Digital UK know about it...
