I cannot get sky news etc on multiplex ch.52 after doing a retune doing the reset procedure. Even tried a manual retune and it shows no channels at all. Is there a problem out of Sandy Heath?

UPDATE to the above. Problem solved, I did another reset and this time it got Multiplex CH.52 back.

We have once again problems with Multiplex CH.52, picture breakup etc. We have always had excellent reception from Sandy Heath TX for the past 12 years. I cured it the other day by doing the reset and all was well but today SKY news etc is terrible.

MikeB: We have 3 other PVR's that get CH.52 Mux. Now the one which is having problems cannot even get CH.51 or CH.52 MUX. I am just wondering if one of the tuners might be faulty, although having said that I was able to reset and retune a couple of days ago and was able to retune to both those MUX's.

It's strange that over the past few weeks I have had odd moments of no signal and last night I had no signal on both BBC and ITV for about 10 minutes, that was between 8.15pm and 8.30pm. In 13 years our TV reception has always been great.

MikeB: Post code PE16 always had 100% signal and since my last post it hasn't occurred again, I will have to put down to some sort of interference.

Having read the message on BBC Four HD that it had moved, I did a rescan and it is showing 106 and the same message to do a rescan, can someone tell me what is going on.
I am on Sandy Heath transmitter and have been for 14 years. My post code is PE16. with very good signal.

If anyone is using the Digitalstream PVR please note that these boxes have been affected by COM7 and COM8.

PE16 6BT Aerial on top of a two story house, very good reception for 14 years.

My problem is C52 COM5 all other COMs have really good signal so why is this particular multiplex showing such bad reception or no signal at all.
Aerial points on the ground floor and top floor are excellent. But middle floor bedroom is the one causing the problem if I want to watch COM5 multiplex. Any advice would be appreciated.

StevensOnln1:

I have an amplifier to distribute the aerial feed around the house. On COM5 where it is working fine on other parts of the house Signal is 97% and Quality 100%.
In the bedroom it is Signal 16% and Quality 25%.
The funny thing is it has just come on when I went to check to get the signal check but often or not it would be pixelating or no signal.
