Hmm, my channel scan has resulted in all my SDN channels having QPSK modulation?! I've got no idea how QPSK differs from 64QAM, but I still seem to get a picture.

All Freeview HD channels are suddenly giving me "No Signal" - although I'm sure I was receiving BBC One HD this lunch time (22nd April).

I can now report receiving some brief and garbled flashes of a few HD channels, and so the problem seems to be a sudden and catastrophic drop in signal quality from the Crystal Palace transmitter.

I've started receiving the HD channels from BBCB again, but I'm still not receiving any of the HD channels from COM such as BBC 4 HD and BBC News HD.

And my missing Freeview HD channels have now returned as mysteriously as they disappeared. And it wasn't my shiny new 4G aerial filter that did it, either! (If it were then I'd have had the channels back last Thursday evening rather than tonight).

So it's a happy, although unsatisfactory, ending...
