Clive Roser: Humax Foxsat PVR's supported Iplayer and one or two other things, but Freetime came afterwards. So you can have Iplayer right now, but if you want all 4 ondemand services, try another box. Simplest way is the £9.95 NowTV box, or a Samsung Blu-Ray player.

Bob: I'm not surprised you normally get 100% from Luscombe - your in Parkstone! (I know it well)
Since your so close, my guess is that your aerial has gone kaput (or at least a connection). To make sure, try rigging up a portable aerial - it will proably work fine. However, just try checking the connections - it might just be the aerial lead has come out.

Tom Cauldwell: Whats your postcode? But it could be that you've a low signal, and so even a ship going through the signal path is enough to mess with the picture.

Ian P: being only 9 miles away, the answer is probably yes! Check your signal strength - its sounds like its too high. Attentuators are very cheap (£1.59 on Amazon), and so you could just bring down the signal level enough to be fine for very little outlay.

Elaine McNair: Your Sky HD box should be connected via HDMI if poss. If you've only got scart, then use that. But your DVD player also probably needs a scart connection. Look at the TV manual, to find the best combination.

Douglas: Apparently yes, and since thats the way Yesterday apparently want it (its on Sky), there is not a lot you can do about it, other than have both Freesat and Freeview.

Wilson: As a guess, are you using another box to watch TV, rather than using an inbuilt tuner? And is that box connected via a scart lead?
If you are, make sure that the lead is connected properly at both ends. Scarts use lots of pins to connect everything, and if its not seated properly, then you get problems like the picture looking pink, or of course, picture and no sound, etc.

Adrian Evans: You havn't given a postcode, which makes it difficult to say what sort of signal you should be getting. However, if you are suddenly losing lots of channels, the first thing to do is not to retune. If your TV was happy before, then all you've done is to loose the transmitter your were using. I suspect that you've a problem within your aerial system, and therefore you've got a highly reduced signal.
Best thing to do is to find out what transmitter your using (might not be Huntshaw any longer), and then look to see what have caused a problem. Start with the aerial lead in the back of the TV - it falling out or coming loose is a classic problem, and then following up the signal path. If you've booster etc in the roof, that might be evidence its got a problem, and of course frayed wires, loose connections or moisture getting are all common causes.

Rob: I dont pretend to know everything. If I did, I wouldn't need to keep to asking for you to back up your opinion that 'BBC bosses to be on over inflated wages' with any actual evidence. Insults, yes. Facts, zero.
There are lots of people on the net who write incoherent rants, and seemingly just repeat the same old zombie meme's over and over again. If someone wants a serious conversation, then be serious. Dont rant, dont just repeat something from the Daily Mail - actually argue using facts. Otherwise, its wasting everyone's time.
