I have 3 Win7 Media Center PCs, all with different brand tuners. All managed the 4th. April retune, but all have failed to find any channels when rescanning today. My TV rescanned fine, so the (roof) aerial is not the problem. I am wondering whether Microsoft has failed to update the guide data? Have any other London Media Center owners had problems?

Roger, on one PC I stopped all the media center services, cleared out the database and tried a fresh setup of the TV signal. Big mistake. Now I can get no channels at all on that PC, even after a system restore. On the PC where I just tried to update the TV signal, I can at least get the BBC channels which have not changed location. I have no idea how to fix this.

For what its worth, I am in Herne Hill, and have no problems with my new Samsung TV, all HD channels are fine.
I can even get reception using just an indoor aerial, which was previously impossible.
I still can't get anything on my Media Center PCs, but Microsoft has just confessed that "We have been informed by our data providers that there was a temporary delay in data upload, but this should be correct tomorrow". So I'll try again tomorrow.

Unfortunately Media Center does not provide a manual tune option for DVB-T. Nor selection of "all" or "any" for source. Selection of source is by postcode, for which Microsoft must maintain some mapping. I suspect that this mapping was not updated for digital switchover. I have tried using a Birmingham postcode, but that didn't help.

Roger. That's comforting to see that I'm not suffering alone.Still waiting on Microsoft, who seem to have done nothing since thanking me for "reaching out" to them. I doubt that the problem is with an individal tuner card, as I have tuner cards from four different manufacturers, and the problem is the same on all. But to try to nudge Microsoft, I have lodged manufacturer support calls for a PC that's still in warranty, and for one of the tuners.

I live in Herne Hill, SE24, with a roof aerial, and usually receive all channels without a problem. Today the signal dropped several times on Film4 and on Yesterday - on these channels the television displayed a sign saying "weak signal" - other channels were still fine. After a few minutes, transmission returned. Could this be something to do with 4G testing in the area?

I live in SE24 (2.5 miles from Crystal Palace) and seem to have similar problem to Malcolm Springett. Since yesterday afternoon I have no HD channels. and cannot get any when I rescan. The previous day reception of HD channels was fine. SD channels are still fine. I am using PCTV nanoStick T2 tuner with Microsoft Windows 7 Media Center.
