Below are all of Martin Rosen's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I have been having intermittent problems with some of the HD channels recently, causing picture break up. As it is not happening all the time, or everyday, I wonder if anyone is aware if the transmitters have been running on lower power recently? No problem on SD channels.
Unfortunately as I live on an estate we have a communial area, which I don't have access to, but because it is not happening all of the time, I don't think it could be a fault with the aerial.
I live in London, NW9 5LQ

StevensOnln1: Unfortunately most of the neighbours have a Sky dish and don't rely on the communal aerial.

Hi I had a similar problem in NW9 a few weeks ago. I reported it here. However, it seems to have sorted itself out. Although not reported, I can only presume it was a weak signal being sent. However, there is a lot of building work going on in the area, but if it was that, why isn't it happening all the time?

MikeB: I will check next time it is raining to see if there is a difference, or if it appears before. However, if that was the fault, would it not appear on all stations - it was happening on BBC News and BBC 4, if I recall.
Unfortunately I have no access to the aerial as it a communial aerial in a block of flats across the road to me.

A friend told me that he had heard that some of the Freeview page numbers are changing in August. I have not seen/heard anything about that. Is it correct?

Hi. Recently I 'lost' the red button services on BBC TV (radio was okay!). I managed to retrieve them by returning the channels, both with and without the aerial connected (same result). However, I still haven't got the red button on BBC News HD (ch.107) and BBC4 HD (ch.106). I presume they should be there. Is there anything else I can do?

I did a retune yesterday morning. I used to have 18x channels now I have 155. I know I have lost all HD services above 105. I don't know which others are missing.
I live in NW London, and normally have good reception on all channels from Crystal Palace.
Unfortunately we have a communal aerial, so if a new one is needed, I presumably have to convince the housing association that one is necessary (they will probably argue most people watch through Sky!).

Basically, for the uninitated will these changes affect my viewing? Will the channel numbers be changing?
