Below are all of Thomas's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Is it just me, or has Channel 5 analogue from Emley Moor recently gone VERY weak? We've never had a high quality picture from Channel 5 at our location, but in recent weeks the quality is getting worse to the point where it's almost impossible to watch! The other four analogue channels seem ok though.
Thankfully, after switchover nothing will be using the Channel 5 analogue frequency, so it's probably not a cause for concern.

Briantist, it might be an idea to remove that 'upgrade to a Wideband aerial' advice from the top of the page. All of Emley Moor's channels, both pre-DSO and the provisional post-DSO, fall within the B group. Channel 56 does not appear on any Ofcom allocation tables for Emley Moor as yet.

This morning, around 6:27am, analogue Channel 4 severe interference or transmitter fault, analogue ITV1 broadcasting 16:9 instead of 14:9. Both faults were corrected by 6:40am - perhaps related to DSO?

Analogue ITV1 (C47) and Mux A (C43) intermittent interruptions from 6pm onwards, now off-air.

Has anyone seen the messages on Emley's analogue channels yet, saying that switchover is imminent? I've seen pictures of them for other regions, but not on Emley Moor yet - perhaps I'm not watching analogue channels at the right time.
I have, however, seen MHEG messages flash up on my Freeview TVs giving the switchover start date (usually when tuning into Channel 4).

HD Mux is still poor for me; signal strength is ok but quality is being reported as 10%. Oddly enough almost no picture breakup.
When doing auto scan Mux 2 also reports itself as being 10% quality, yet when I tune to one of its channels and bring up the signal meter, it's up to 90%!

This page reports that ITV1 HD from Emley Moor is carrying the Granada feed rather than the Yorkshire feed. The EPG on the other hand reports that the regional news programme is 'London Tonight' instead of 'Calendar'. Which region do we REALLY have? Or do all ITV1 HD transmitters broadcast London Tonight?

I got London Tonight on ITV1 HD, and the commercials were different to the ones playing on the normal ITV1 channel. ITV1 had a few ads for the Yorkshire/Lincolnshire region, but the ITV1 HD ads didn't seem to have any regional bias. I guess we are getting the London feed.

After DSO stage 1, the higher power digital signals from Belmont are actually being picked up here in Leeds (even though my aerial is pointed at Emley Moor). Signal is still weak, but enough for the TV put the channels into the 800s along with Emley Moor's.

Graeme, is something being built near your location, or are plants/trees growing near you now? Depending on your dish location, trees and new buildings could be blocking the signal where they weren't before.
Also with the recent high winds, is it possible your dish was moved out of alignment? Has the LNB perhaps been damaged?
