@ Paulw. I had channels missing after switchover. I replaced the flylead between the TV and aerial socket with another and the missing channels came back (they were ok elsewhere in the house which was off the same aerial). Doing the same may not cure your problem but it is worth trying.

@ Solent-Viewer. I am in Totton with an external aerial. Sky News is almost unwatchable here because the signal keeps on pixellating or not being there (No Signal msg). The odd thing is that this has only developed in the last week. I wonder if power has been reduced since Crystal Palace began the switchover on Wednesday.

I wish they would do away with the nag screen on ITV1 etc to retune if missing channels.

I agree with Bon Eades about how annoying the digital switchover message is. Surely they can turn it off, now that most viewers must have read it.
In reply to Daniel, I live in Totton and have no trouble with the BBC channels on Freeview.
