I'm afraid there is a lot of weather related interference around at present, both the BBC and Freeview have issued warnings about possible interference.
One thing NOT to do is retune whilst you have badly affected sound or pixellated pictures as this can clear the correct tuning and possibly get you tuned to incorrect weaker signals which will continue the problem.
IF you have retuned, check in your TV Tuning Section that you are correctly tuned to Midhurst's UHF channels as listed at the very top of this page (get a friend to help if need be).
If your aerial installation is up-to-scratch, there is little you can do except wait for conditions to change. How old (roughly) is the aerial and cable?
Do you have any aerial amplifier/splitter for more than one TV?
Another possibility is interference from Mobile phone mast signals which may cause direct interference or reduce the sensitivity of your receiver depending on their strength and make reception less reliable. You should have received a postcard from https://restoretv.uk/
In your case, without the weather related issues, your BBC channels may be affected the worst.

We assume your aerial is pointing at a bearing of 191 degrees, that's 11 degrees West of due South, for Bilsdale, and the rods should be horizontal.
You are predicted to get good reception of the multiplexes from Bilsdale by both Freeview and the BBC. Those coax lengths should be fine.
As previously mentioned, current weather conditions may be causing interference as well as the possibility of you last retuning when the transmitter work was taking place.
Also you are predicted to be able to get two other transmitters in your location, so your best bet will be to check that you are correctly tuned to Bilsdale's UHF channels and do a manual tune of them rather than an automatic tune. That way, if signals are weak due to interference or transmitter work, you should get tuned to them eventually.

That's not necessarily the case. Please provide a full postcode so we can check your predicted reception, and which transmitter you are predicted to receive.
There is some weather related interference at present which also might intermittently affect reception.

AFAIK it's not gone anywhere! If you are not receiving it at the moment, you should also be missing LCNs 7 or 8 (Local News), LCN52 Great Romance, LCN61 Great Movies +1, LCN68 RealityXtra.
Those are all carried on the Local multiplex which you might receive on UHF36 or UHF48 depending on your location & as you haven't given a full postcode I can't check your predicted reception of those.
You might not be receiving them at the moment possibly for one of two reasons - the Planned Engineering as detailed in the post before yours, or current weather conditions where there's intermittent variable Tropospheric Ducting resulting in interference from distant transmitters in the UK or Europe.
Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about such interference which may last seconds, minutes or longer and won't necessarily affect any other multiplexes. You just have to wait for conditions to change.
One thing NOT to do if you have sound breakup or pixellated pictures is to retune, as this will often clear your correct tuning and you won't know when signals are back to normal.
IF you did retune, your best bet will be to try a manual retune of UHF36 or UHF48 depending on which you normally receive. You may have to try several times if signals haven't returned to normal.

Even if people don't have one of the latest compatible TV Models for this automatic swap, a number of sets have the ability in their programme management menus to move channels around to your own chosen LCNs. Some may only allow it by using "Favourites" which may be a more tedious way of doing things.
I've already swapped my HD channels apart from ITV1 as they haven't yet regionalised, although I didn't keep a duplicate HD version in 10x. I also moved my SD versions to the 900s, rather than the 600s which can sometimes get used for other things.

The Belmont transmitter is currently listed for Planned Engineering with Possible effect on TV reception week commencing 05/06/2023 as Pixelation or flickering on some or all channels.
In addition to which there is variable weather related Tropospheric Ducting which is causing interference to signals for some, but it's not likely to affect all multiplexes at the same time or at all.
Whilst there are no current reports of the Belmont transmitter being off air, there could still be brief interruptions or low power depending on the nature of the work at a given instance.
Generally, your area can get good signals from Belmont and Emley Moor, and Emley Moor has been off air overnight for two night whilst essential engineering has taken place. It may be worth checking that your aerial is correctly pointing at Belmont (should be around compass bearing 76 degrees - that's E of ENE). Even if it is, it's possibly you might have been inadvertently receiving Emley Moor off a rear side-lobe of the aerial (correct bearing being around compass bearing 323 degrees - slightly N of NW).
As you haven't given a full postcode we can't advise if you might be in a weaker signal location making such problems possibly worse.
Check that your aerial is intact and correctly aligned and check in the TV Tuning section that you are tuned to Belmont's UHF channels - C22, C25, C28, C30, C23, & C26 that's in multiplex order -
BBCA/PSB1, D3&4/PSB2, BBCB HD/PSB3, SDN/COM4, ArqA/COM5, ArqB/COM6

One thing that is NOT advised these days is to retune if you were correctly tuned and have no signal/lose signal or have sound breakup and/or pixellated pictures as this usually just clears the correct tuning and you'll have to retune again when signals are normal. As you can't be certain when that may be you could have to try several times. If the issue is due to weather conditions you just have to be patient and wait until conditions change.
Retuning is rarely required unless commercial operators change any of their channels on the COM multiplexes, and you are usually advised by a pop-up message when that is required.

My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound o | free and easy most of which will apply (except maybe the Emley Moor bit).
