I think your best bet will be to email Channel5 again giving all that technical detail and complain that the problem hasn't been resolved since you last contacted them ..... however many weeks ago that was!

Try again, but this time be more blunt. Tell them you have presented technical information from another independent source as well as your own information, and the problem needs to be passed to someone who knows what they are talking about and to stop fobbing you off with nonsense.

Well all I can say is good luck with that then. I do not know how good or effective the SLX 5G filter is.
The filters supplied by Restore TV are to a high spec. standard that was specified and approved by OFCOM, I hope the SLX is a t least as good. You seemed to get the best results, from the figures you posted, when you had two in series on the aerial side.
I hope the Labgear booster has variable gain. Getting the right gain can be very important, high as possible without overload, as I emphasised in an earlier post, too much gain can be just as detrimental.

Hi jack. Well with SC still on Planned Engineering, any lower direct received signal strength that you have will likely make the effect of reflected signals coming off aircraft a lot more problematic.
Also bear in mind the current weather conditions with the high pressure likely to cause some "tropo" from time to time - there has been a bit about this week. The usual effect initially is to see the signal Quality going up and down as the interfering signals come and go, and when they are strong enough that the receiver can't decode the wanted signal then the signal strength figures will drop, even to zero as all the receiver is seeing is "noise".
The crashing issue - the more I think about it, I'm suspecting it's some bug related to having more than one region being received at the same time. This is probably why you don't come across many/any experiencing the same issue as the chances of someone being in a location that can frequently get more than one region as well as having a Humax box and posting about the issue on any forums is probably quite low! The more I think about it, IIRC of the few I've come across in the past, is where transmissions have come from two different regions, but I'd have to try and find those posts to look again. Some were quite some time ago.
As far as Radio channels go, I haven't seen any changes. BBC stations have always been on BBCA/PSB1. The few commercial stations that remain on Freeview are mostly on ArqA with a couple on ArqB.

Whilst this is the correct Freeview transmitter page for Freeview problems at Lancaster, you did originally post on the DAB transmitter page here https://ukfree.tv/extras/inreplyto/1139318 where there were two replies which I trust you read.
Is it the BBC SD or HD multiplex that you are having problems with?
As your reception could be marginal at the best of times, use of Reduced power or the Reserve antenna (lower on the mast) during engineering work could have a significant effect on your reception.
