Looking at both your posts, I tend to agree with MikeP that there's a good possibility you may have too much signal, although I don't agree with him on the preciseness of the 85-100% signal strength. What may be 100% on one receiver may be somewhat less on another, BUT it should be used as a guide, so if you have 100% signal and somewhat less than 100% quality - as you have - then that's one of the first things you should look at.
At 10 miles from the transmitter, you really should not need any amplifier, so I would look at trying to by pass it to see what happens to your signals.
However, I also note from the Digital UK map of your postcode, there are some mobile phone masts quite close and in the same line of sight as the transmitter. These could be providing some interference to channels 55/56 especially with your amplifier! So you should also contact the AT800 advice line on 0808 13 13 800 and see if you can get a filter which may help.

The probable reason COMs 7/8 are worse is likely to be due to interference from Crystal Palace.
As you have an adjustable attenuator, I would try reducing the attenuation a bit further. There is nothing wrong with 100% signal on your strongest muxes PROVIDING the Quality does not reduce on any of the muxes (and of course you are not experiencing any pixellation or sound breakup issues!) Bear in mind you may still see those problems on COMs 7/8 from time to time anyway due to interference.

In addition to what has already been said, according to the terrain plot for your location, and to DigitalUK, you should not have any problem with reception.

In addition to what MikeP has said (you need to enter your TV's Programme Tuning Settings section - see your manual) you may need to check that you don't in fact have TOO MUCH signal. If you find that you have 100% signal but somewhat less than 100% quality on the strongest muxes, then Too Much signal is a likely possibility. Interference is also another possibility in this situation as mentioned by MikeP in his post on the 22nd May, there is a mobile phone mast 310m from you according to the UKFreeTV map.
Do you have any aerial/distribution amplifier in your installation?

That's certainly worth a try Dre as I mentioned in a response here to Darren on the 22nd May.

The only time I ever see any "corruption" to the Freeview EPG data is when the relevant information doesn't appear to completely load for whatever reason.
I don't think it's worth me commenting further on this issue as I can't add anything constructive further to what I've already said in previous posts. Sorry.

I do not think you will get the BBC mux from Sudbury on an indoor aerial as suggested by Hardy.
As you are probably aware, multiplex channel changes have been taking place as part of the 700Mhz band clearance, Sudbury had some changes back in March and whilst you initially may not have had (many) problems, further changes have been taking place more recently at adjacent and other transmitters and this is resulting in reception from Sudbury becoming more "difficult" for your location.
If you look at DigitalUK's prediction for your location at Coverage Checker - Detailed View you will see that for Sudbury this is not going to improve significantly as further retunes take place and will be worse for some muxes.
Also if you have a group E aerial this will not be helping as COM muxes move to lower channels.
However, there is a Relay transmitter at Clacton-on-Sea and whilst this is currently a "Freeview Light" transmitter (no COM muxes), that is changing on 1st August 2018 when COMs 4,5 & 6 will be added according to DigitalUK. You will see that on the link mentioned above.
You may get satisfactory reception from your existing aerial, but it may require re-aligning (or replacing with a group K).

Please IGNORE my previous post above, I'm afraid I mistakenly looked at the wrong postcode.
You should get satisfactory reception of all muxes according to DigitalUK, see Coverage Checker - Detailed View

Darren:
Basically what js has tried to explain is that with SFNs, there are areas where the transmitters' signals will interfere with one another, which might (and note I said might) mean you cannot get satisfactory reception of them. But according to the Digital UK site for your postcode, you shouldn't have a real problem until sometime between Apr-Jun2019, thereafter it goes downhill !!!
That said, there's a couple of things for you to try/look at.
First, from the Digital UK data for your postcode, there are some mobile phone transmitters very close to you, and these may be giving you some interference affecting channels 55/56. I would contact the AT800 advice line on 0808 13 13 800 and see if you can get a filter which may help.
Second, TV aerials are directional BUT they do pick up reduced signals from the rear and also certain angles on the side (side-lobes). Sometimes a bit of careful alignment can reduce the pickup of unwanted signals, but it may also be that you may need a better quality directional aerial. Do you know anything about the aerial you have (make/model) other than it being wideband?
