Barbara:

Do you have any problems with any other multiplexes, eg if your TV is full HD, can you get the COMs 7&8 multiplexes OK?
Have a look at your TV's tuning section and look for where it reports the signal strength and quality and tell us what is it for the PSB1/BBCA multiplex on UHF Ch.32 and what it is for SDN/COM4 on UHF Ch.48.

John Hughes:

If you goto Email settings (the envelope icon on the RHS of the red bar at page top) you should be able to set the frequency of email updates.
Certainly don't give up John. btw I assume you noticed I replied to your tweet!

John Hughes:

For some reason, some of the "direct" links do not work properly. The site owner is the only one that can fix such issues. Whatever page a link takes me to, I usually just go to the last page in the page bar and work from there, or in some cases have to manually edit the url to get to the correct tx page. If you could DM me that email address, that would be good.

True Movies 1

jo:

Sony renamed their channels last year and had many of them moved to Local multiplexes. True Movies is now called Sony Movies Classic at LCN50 in your programme guide. Unless you get a Local station at LCN 7 or 8 you probably won't get those Sony Channels.
See Channel listings | Freeview for which channels are on which multiplex.
If you need more help and you know which transmitter you get Freeview from, post back, otherwise a full postcode is needed to see what the Freeview Detailed Coverage checker predicts for reception at your location.

Now Thats What I Call Music

London

Carole Young:

Now 80's is owned by All Around the World Productions Ltd (a record label company) whose parent label is
Universal Music Operations Ltd. part of the Universal Music Group, all of whom have the registered address 364-366 Kensington High Street, Kensington, London W14 8NS
I can't (readily) see any e-mail address for them unless there's something in their Companies House listing which shows them as part of Universal Music Leisure Ltd with a correspondence address 4 Pancras Square, London, United Kingdom, N1C 4AG
In short, this means there doesn't seem to be any easy way to get in touch with them!
Universal Music Group have a Youtube channel Universal Music Group
- YouTube
which might lead you to a way to get in touch with them or give them feedback.

I assume you mean all the programmes on the SDN/COM4 and ArqB/COM6 multiplexes (see Channel listings | Freeview )
How long does this last for?

I can't see any reports from the BBC about problems with their transmissions on Caradon Hill or anything from Freeview either.
Have you changed anything lately, or had any new equipment (including electric equipment) which might operate at this time?

It would be a good idea to check all your coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. Flyleads are a common problem, try swapping/changing them. See what signal strengths and quality you are getting for those multiplexes shown in your TV's tuning section. Also check that your downlead looks undamaged (especially if it is old) and that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction.
Problematic connections, water ingress etc. can seem to affect reception of just an individual or several multiplexes.
Also check you don't have any HDMI cables near aerial leads and that they are all seated correctly.

J.Johnson:

I'm assuming that as you've posted on the Fenham transmitter page, that's where you believe you are getting your signals from. It's certainly not the best transmitter for you according to the Freeview Detailed Coverage checker.

How long have you been moved in roughly? Where is the aerial located?

For Fenham, the aerial should have its rods vertical and be pointing ~WNW bearing 299 degrees.
The UHF channels would be C23, C26, C30, C25, C22, C28 for multiplexes PSBs1-3, COMs4-6.

You should get good reception from Pontop Pike, for which the aerial rods should be horizontal, pointing ~WSW more like slightly S of W, bearing 263 degrees.
The UHF channels would be C39, C42, C45, C32, C34, C35, C55, C56, C33 for multiplexes PSBs1-3, COMs 4-8, & the Local Newcastle multiplex.

You could also be picking up the local Sunderland "Light" relay on UHF C29, C31, C37 for PSBs1-3. It's that close, it may not matter if the aerial isn't pointing SE, but it's very very low power.

William Gould:

Not sure what you are trying to tune into there William, there's nothing broadcasting on 762MHz. If you are going by the list at the top of the page, I'm afraid it's out of date, the sire owner hasn't had time to do all the 700MHz clearance updates.
Whitehawk Hill's channels are now PSB1/BBCA C48, PSB2/D3&4 C35, PSB3/BBCB C36, COM4/SDN C32, COM5/ARQA C34, COM6/ARQB C33, LOCAL MUX/L-BTN C40.
If you click on each of the aforementioned channels, it'll give you the frequency if they aren't known/obvious to you.
HTH.

Jon McGee:

Do you still have no Freeview?
I'm wondering with the seriously atrocious weather and flooding in your area whether there'd maybe been a power cut to the transmitter. The BBC and Freeview aren't reporting any transmitter faults.
