The LG sets that have an 'F' connector have, as you suggest, a satellite receiver built in. This is perfectly suitable for Freesat and gets all the channels - all it doesn't do is allocate them to the same LCN as a Freesat box would.
On my LG set we get a listing of almost 1000 channels! Many are duplicates of course and quite a few are encrypted. But all the same SD and HD channels that are offered by Freesat are available, just on different LCNs.
LM did say his TV has a satellite system built in, as does mine. So he can get all the Freesat channels already, he just can't record them - and it's a bit of a 'fag' trying to find the channel you want amongst so many.

Check with your neighbours in the block to see if they have the same problem. If they do, then report it to the owners of the flats or their managing agents - they are responsible for maintenance and repairing any such defects.
If they are not, then check your own equipment and connections but do *not* retune.

If your aerial contractor thinks the problem is due to 4G services, you should contact at800 using the Contact us | Advice or general enquiries | at800 web address. That page has a number of options to help checl the cause and allow you to contac t them directly.
If the cause is suspected to be 4G services they will supply free of charge a filter to add into your aerial system. I'm surprised your aerial contractor did not mention this as it's very well known and documented.
I'm assuming that your live within the Ilchester Crescent transmitter service area, a post code would help us to check that.

Neither Tredegar nor Abergaveny offer a full Freeview service. There is a slim possibility that you may be able to get signals from Mendip but that is by no means certain and may suffer from serious disturbances due to the distance and intervening water.
If you look at the digitaluk box below your post, or look at Coverage Checker - Detailed View which is what you would be shown, you are quite some distance from Mendip, so signals could well be weak and unreliable.
AFAIK there are not yet any plans to offer a full service on either Tredegar or Abergaveny transmitters.

Did you put a full postcode in or just the first part as shown in your post? It needs a full post code before any further information can be given - the first part of a post code often covers a huge area!

As you can see, I live in Trowbridge but we do not suffer from any loss of signals at any time during the day or evening. Not knowing your exact location in the town, a post code would have helped, it is impossible to know what structures or businesses are nearby. Another factor that is common in this type of problem is electrical interference, possibly caused by some equip[ment that turns on at about that time. So would you check the cabling to the TV and any timer controlled equipment anywhere in the house. It is also possible that some external souyrce is the cause.

Are you saying that your signal strength is high? Any strength greater than about 70% is likerly to cause the
symptoms you are experiencing and needs to be reduced. Too strong a signal is known rto cause picture breakup and sound problems, especially on HD services.
I suggest trying an attenuator fitted in the aerial feed cable indoors. They are readily available from Maplins, RS Spares and others. What strength attenuator is required depends on just how strong thesignals are. Buy a few of different attenuation, it's meaured in dB so start with a 3, a 6 and a 12. Try each separately to see which give the best results.

Channel 64-68 are in the 4G range and not suitable for your purpose. Use channel 38 as that will avoid any conflict with the available transmitters in your area.

It could be local interference from electriv=cal equipment nearby, either in the house or a neighbours. Chech for anything that switches on or off at that time.

And if we all used our mobile phones just as a mobile phone, as originally intended, then there would not be any need to a vast expansion of the spectrum used to carry social media posts, etc. Mobile phone companies are aggresive in their efforts to make people transfer more data, so having to pay the mobile phone company even more.
