Firstly, you need to have a wideband aerial so that you can get all the multiplexes being broadcast from Beacon Hill.
Then you need to manually retune to the channels shown at Coverage Checker - Detailed View which gives the details of the transmissions available at your location.

For us contributors to offer any meaningful assistance we need you to provide your full post code, a partial will not help. That way could find out which of the over 1100 transmitters you might be using.

None of the UK Freeview transmitters are operated by the BBC or ITV. They are operated by Arqiva, who can be contacted via their website at https://www.arqiva.com/co…us/.
All the programmes are transmitted as groups in what are known as multiplexes. If you are receiving any one of the programmes in a multiplex then you should have all of them.
You have not given a full post code so we cannot look up the expected reception conditions at your location. I suggest you first look at the Digital UK Coverage Checker, put in your full post code and select the Detailed view. That will show you the expected reception at that post code.

Yes to all of those. You need a Freesat PVR to do it, connected to a suitably aimed dish and LNB. The LNB must not be a SkyQ type as they do not work with a Freesat unit.

Please provide a full post code so that we can loom up the expected reception at your location. There are over 1100 transmitters in the UK and w=you could be using any one of those!

Simply go to Wikipedia and look for the TV channels against frequency listing.
Almost all TV sets tune using the channel numbers allocation table, using channels 21 to 60 (originally to 69).

The best way is to unplug the aerial from the back of the TV and then do a full retune. Then plug the aerial; back in and do a retune again. The first time clears all the 'old' tuning data, the second time lets it find all the current tuning data which will have probably changed since thge set was last used, hence the lack of channels.

The predicted reception for your location, according to the post code you have helpfully given, shows that you are unlikely to get much useful reception from Hannington, but that Crystal Palace would be a better option. See Coverage Checker - Detailed View
It suggests that you are aunlikely to get resonable reception of COMs 7 or 8. You would need a wideband aerial to stand any chance of getthing those, though you are quite some way from the transmitter and thos multiplexes are brodcast as=t a lower power than the main 6 multuiplexes.
