Go to the Digital UK Coverage Checker and put in your post code and house number, then select Detailed View and then press Go. That will then show a listing of the transmitters available at your location. Scroll down to show your prefered transmitter and it will show the channel numbers for the available multiplexes.

I'm not mixed up at all, just look at the ecpected reception shown on the Digital UK Coverage Checker for Tracy's post code.

When I look at the coverage checker set to Tracy's post code it shows that only Sandy Heath has a good reception at her location, all the others have varying degrees of poor reception or none at all.
So I am correct. The only issue is whether she would gat the regional programmes she prefers.

Tracy et al:
Having had yet another look at the Digital UK Coverage checker set for the post code given, Sudbury is shiown as variable for SDN reception, Tacolnston is poor for the main 6 multiplexes but may be usable for COM7 and COM8. Sandy heath is good for the sic main multiplexes but not for COM7 or COM8, none of the other transmitters mentioned are of much value.
So is Tracy wants all the six main multiplexes then she should be using Sandy Heath, but if she is willing to have variable reception of SDN then Sudbury is an alternative though less than ideal.
Her location in Thurston End, Hawkedon, Bury St. Edmunds, IP29 4LQ does not appear to be ideal for reception of all channels at present. The alternative is to use Freesat instead.

There are no problems reported at the transmitter and no other viewers have reported such eirther. So please check all your aerial cables and connections. Unplug all coaxial plugs and sockets and then refit them and try viewing BBC1.

At the time I responded there was no information avaiulable about any engineering wirk at the transmitter - which is exactly what I stated. Only later did the information become available. SO I was absolutely correct at the time. Please don;t be so rude!

Because of recent changes to the frequencies being used, you need to have your aerial changed to a wideband type so it can receive the COM7 and COM8 broadcasts better. Channel 81 is on COM7.
If you do not have cable or satellite you may qualify for a free aerial replacement by contacting the Frevview support by looking at Important changes to Freeview TV signals | Freeview or ringing them on 0808 100 0288.

They do not appear to have a web-based service.
You might find a plug-in tuner that would fit a tablet computer but most tuners need a USB socket and most tablets do not have that.
