The transmitter is not reported to have any problems. As it serves a large number of people many would have complained if there was. I suggest you check all your aerial system, the cables and all connections. Unpolug and refit all coaxial plugs/sockets to clear any corrosion/oxidation from the contacts, that is a common cause of the problems you report. You should not have tried retuning, all that achieves is losing all tuning information the TV already had.

Octo LNBs are readily available and can be used with a single dish, they are not terribly expensive, see for exam0le Octo LNBs. Primesat octo LNB, Sky octo LNB. Satellite Superstore UK octo LNBs. Low prices. (other sellers are also available). The costly issue is the amount of quality satellite quality coaxial cables, at least CT100 standard but there are better cables that are more expensive. You will need to think about where the cables will have to run to reach all the rooms you want to used to watch satellite TV.
Incidentally do not buy one that is for use with SkyQ as that uses a completely different control system to a that of a Freesat LNB.

Are you not aware that Facebook in any form is not trusted by a great many people and it is unlikely to be suitable for the purposes of this website. Facebook is known to collect personbal information about all users and does not p[ublicly admit to what it does with all that information - which is why so mant people do not trust it at all.

I suggest that your check all your aerial cables and connection. Unplug all coaxial plugs/soclets and refit them. Corrosion/oxidation on those contact is a common cause of the problems you report.

Please provide a full pist code so that we can look up the expected reception conditions at your location. With that information we will know which of the over 1100 transmitters you are likely to be using and can check whether there are any known faults.

Firstly you need planning permission to use a 1m dish. Once you have obtained that from your local council/planning authority you can look up the elevation, azimuth and skew settings from a number of websites.

At the top of this page it tells you that it is horizontal. Most main transmitters are set to be horizontally polarised whilst most relay transmitters are verstical. There are a few exceptions, such as Rowridge on the Isle of Wight.
