Well, it seems like I was getting all three PSB's at 100% from the Mendip Transmitter near Bristol! Nice while it lasted.. I seem to be back to a mediocre reception from Crystal Palace now, with no HD :-(

Are there any maps available showing what the predicted coverage will be from the Sudbury transmitter after DSO?

I also thought that there would be a significant power increase at DSO on 20th July?

Can we just confirm what the PCB muxes are? I think they are the two main muxes containing the main BBC TV/Radio and ITV / C4 channels + the HD Mux?
I am on a fringe area of the Sudbury map so am expecting significantly better reception on DSO. Plus the new HD Mux.
Am I wrong?

How do I know if I am getting my signal from Sudbury or Rouncefall? They are both transmitting on the same channels / frequencies I believe?

Thanks Mike. I am very pleasantly suprised to be getting 95% to 100% quality and strength from Sudbury region as of today (Channel 44), when I am on the fringe of both Sudbury and Crystal Palace and my aerial is pointing at CP. I did have an aerial installer booked to come and point my aerial to Sudbury on 21st July but I have cancelled him for now as I think I may be okay with it as it is, and that leaves me the option of getting better reception from CP after London DSO from April 2012.
Or, have I overlooked something and all is not quite as rosy as it currently seems?

Does anyone know what the re-tune event is for on 16th November? And will it affect me if I am getting my signal from Rouncefall rather than from Sudbury direct?

I live in Rayleigh, postcode SS6 9JG and have been getting a marginally okay reception from Crystal Palace for the last 10 years with a Televes DAT 45 aerial and a 4 way masthead amplifier.
Looking forward to Sudbury DSO in July 2011 as I have Freeview HD TV but have not been able to pick up the HD channels from Crystal Palace as I'm too far away.
Well, today I lost everything so did a re-scan and suddenly I have an excellent service on the tv, including HD channels, but I'm not sure how or where from. But.. I also have a media center PC with three SD Freeview tuners in, and that does not seem to be able to pick up anything.
It's very confusing!
Here is what I am getting on the tv:
HD channels on 769.993 Mhz
BBC channels on 793.994 Mhz
ITV channels on 737.994 Mhz
The above are all very strong
ITV1+1 on 481.830 Mhz
PickTV + 1 on 754.161 Mhz
These two are more marginal.
