Below are all of Pete's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. Can someone tell me why two of the groups of SAVINGS pages on page 2510 on THE BBC RED BUTTON text services (nationwide) are displaying nonesense and have been for the last two years on all BBC TV platforms FREEVIEW & FREESAT.
The faulty headings on Page 2510 are "INTERNET ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BONUS" & "MONTHLY INTEREST WITHOUT BONUS".
When you complain they just try to fob you off by telling you that you are seeing things. The BBC gets more arrogant as the years go by and it's standards are falling year on year also. Time was when they would correct these minor faults while you were on the phone to them.

Brian : RE RED BUTTON SAVINGS Page 2510 display fault on the last two (4th & 5th) items. How do I send a "screen grab" from my TV to a BBC complaints website that will only allow you to complain on a form with a limited number of words with no means of attaching files to your complaint. Why is it beyond them to just turn on their own TV (I'm sure someone at the BBC has one) and realise that the information displayed does not line up with the headings, instead of denying (continually) that the problem exists at all, which they have been doing now for 2 YEARS !!!

Maybe most people, like me, prefer watching TV without a logo in the top left hand corner !!
If TV stations really want HD to take off perhaps they can remove them.
I will not spend any of my hard earned cash to watch channels that annoy me (even in better picture quality).
I personally would rather stay with standard definition logo free channels that my standard hard drive can record (using fewer bits) and therefore fit more programmes on my hard drive before I need to delete any.

Reading between the lines I don't think FM/VHF will be switched off for quite some time to come. Uptake of DAB in cars is pathetic.
At a recent Any Questions in Oxford not one person in an audience of over 400 had DAB in their car.
As one of your previous contributers stated DAB unlike Heineken does not get to parts AM & FM can reach and that includes the inside of Virgin trains too. Northern Trains fair a little better, however, on the line from Stoke on Trent to Manchester, so if I want to listen to a BBC Radio 4 Extra drama or comedy I take one of these.

The BBC have finally (after 2 and a half years) acknowledged that they have a technical problem with the last two catagories of their Savings pages on Red Button Page 2510. They still haven't fixed it however, so page 1/3 still displays a single % which is meaningless !! Affected catogories include INTERNET ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BONUS
I think it's time they employed some brighter IT staff if it takes them over two years to admit to a problem and still not fix it. Pathetic !!

Why do some boxes miss some multiplexes when performing retunes rather than capturing all of them, especially when the signal strength is adequate ?

As a matter of interest, what's the % for BBC ONE HD on your pie chart I don't see it, whereas you do display the figure for ITV1 HD.
How come ?

Most adverts are not regional anyway and Glossop Caravans advertise on Granada HD and Glossop is in DERBYSHIRE at least it was last time I checked Mr Woodwood. If you get Freesat you can choose your ITV region.
