Roger Brooks: Is the channel still listed on the EPG but with a blank screen or has it disappeared completely? Have you tried turning the TV/box off at the mains for a few minutes? A hard reboot can solve many glitches.

bruce tearle: I can't find anything on Google about any issues with All4 on your box. I only have a Humax Freesat box, which All4 was removed from several years ago, so can't check for any similar issues here. I take it your Samsung TV doesn't have the All4 app? My 2016 Samsung 40" got the update to ITVX so presumably yours is an older model. I think your best option is probably to contact Channel 4 Viewer Enquiries via the email address or phone number at the link below and explain what you've told us to see if they have a solution (please come back and let us know how if they manage to solve it).

Chris.SE: Thanks, that list should come in handy.

bruce tearle: The Channel 4 contact link seems to be missing from my reply this morning, it is:

Contact us | Channel 4

Nicholas Anderson: Because the work to enable BBC One HD regions on Freeview hasn't been completed yet. The BBC have said it will be completed during April/May for Freeview.

Alan BALDWIN: Are you watching on Freesat? ITV 2, 3 & 4 were replaced with the HD versions on Freesat HD and 4K boxes back in November when the HD versions became free to air on satellite. ITV appear to have decided that they don't want to pay to have both the HD and SD versions of each channel listed on the EPG. Do you get picture breakup on any other channels?

Barry Holme: All BBC regional news programmes have been available on iPlayer for many years, you can select your region on the settings page. If you provide a full postcode we can take a look at your predicted reception and may be able to suggest what can be done to improve it.

Simo : I've never used the TalkSport app so the only thing I can suggest is try registering by accessing their website on your phone.

Listen Live | talkSPORT

Otherwise email them on feedback@talksport.co.uk and let them know the make and model of phone and a description of the problem so that their aware of the issue and can hopefully fix it in a future version of their app.

Paddy McElroy : This isn't the BBC's website, nobody on this independent technical help website has anything to do with any decision made by the BBC or any other broadcaster.

Mark A.: All BBC One regions are switching to HD on satellite in the space of a month, so I'm not sure it make much difference which region is first or last. HD regions on Freeview are due to be completed during April, apparently a lot of behind the scenes work has been going on since the middle of last year to get the new code and mux ready.

Mike Davison: SCART cables are not capable of carrying HD pictures. What I think Richard means is that it is possible to view HD channels on an old SD TV by connecting a HD box via a SCART cable, but the picture will be downscaled to SD and converted to analogue, although it will still have a better picture than watching an SD channel.
