Below are all of StevensOnln1's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.tony archer: Some of them may be part time channels such as placeholder +1s or adult channels which broadcast for a few hours overnight. You might also be seeing entries for the portals which link to streaming channels, I've no idea if VLC is able to open them directly as I've never tried, although if you search online it may be possible to find the URL of the stream which can be played in VLC.

Mike: If you're seeing news from a different region on BBC One that's because there is currently a 24 hour journalist strike.

Steve lovegrove: There is planned engineering work listed for Sutton Coldfield this week, however it would be worth checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and also check that the aerial is still mounted securely in the loft (if you can safely access it) with the cable still connected, as it has been known for mounting brackets to come loose over time and drop down without anyone noticing.

Brian Butterworth: Looks like you've amalgamated some sites with others nearby in your list at UK Free TV fix 3: fix everything else...

Bourton On The Water is the former BBC Radio Gloucestershire AM transmitter site near Icomb Hill (but a separate location) - see mb21 - The Transmission Gallery
Wroughton is the former Swindon VHF transmitter site south of the town (not the original structure) which is now a 6 mux UHF transmitter operating in a SFN with Seagry Court. It is several miles from Blunsdon - see mb21 - The Transmission Gallery
It may be worth checking the others against MB21 or other sites, those are just two which I'm aware of.

Brian Butterworth: The radio transmitter maps don't seem to list which services they transmit any more (I'm sure they used to a few years ago).

Glen: Pop is carried on the local TV multiplex, which is not broadcast from Sandy Heath but is broadcast from the Madingley transmitter which is in the same direct as Sandy Heath for viewers in Cambridge. If you can receive a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8 then you should also receive Pop on 206, Tiny Pop on 207 and Pop Max on 208.

Brian Butterworth: I've just noticed whilst replying to another post that the coverage map and local TV mux details are missing on the Madingley page. PSB1/2/3 are confusingly listed with no output power, despite never having been broadcast from there.

Steve: Until a few months ago there were only 4 versions of the PSB3 HD multiplex (which carries ITV HD) across the whole of England. This was replaced using new equipment to enable BBC One HD regions, however ITV have not yet given a date for when they will remaining HD regions on Freeview. It has been suggested elsewhere that ITV are waiting for existing contracts to expire before the work to enable the remaining HD regions can be completed.

Chris.SE & Peter Cannon: The 3rd generation Freesat 4K boxes are compatible with the Sky Q wideband LNBs, but as already stated you would need to replace with a Universal LNB to connect most other receivers.
