Have you checked for any loose cables or connections behind your TV? What signal strength and quality readings are you getting? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.

Brent Holloway: Is that 6 out of 10 or 6 out of 100? What about signal strength? What readings do you get on BBC One HD and BBC News HD?

Babs: If its happening at the same time every night, the problem is most likely being caused by something operating on a timer switch which is causing interference (most likely something with an electric motor).

Alan: You might be able to pick up the PSB channels (BBC/ITV/C4/C5 etc) but probably not a lot more.

MIKE CROSS: Kilvey Hill has transmitter HD channels for several years. I assume you're asking about the HD channels on the COM7 & COM8 multiplexes, in which case the answer is not in the next few years as COM7 & COM8 are temporary services transmitted from 30 main transmitters covering around 75% of UK households and will not be expanded to any additional transmitters. No announcements have been made regarding what will happen with the additional channels carried on these multiplexes when they close (expected to be some time around 2020-2022).

Derek walket: No one can answer that without some basic information such as where you are and which transmitter you're using (please provide a full postcode). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Have you lost any other channels?

Harry: Talking Pictures moved from COM7 to COM6 at the end of November, hence a retune being necessary if your TV doesn't update it's channel list automatically. Try a manual tune on UHF C55 which should add Talking Pictures and any other missing channels from COM6 at Winter Hill.

A. Nimmo: I don't understand your comment about a reply from a robot. Who has said anything about not liking people streaming? I use various streaming services all the time. I don't work for either Freeview or any broadcaster or transmitter company and neither does anyone else on this website. (I don't even work in the TV/radio/media industry). This is not Freeview's website and you are directing your complaints at the wrong people. I was willing to overlook the manner of your original post on the Kings Lynn page and was offering to help/advise on how your signal might be able to be improved, but if this is how you respond to people who offer to help you for free then I'm not interested in doing so.
