Harold : The change to the region data on COM7/8 was made several months ago in preparation for COM7/8 becoming single frequency networks (SFN). It would appear that some older receivers are unable to cope properly with this change (you aren't the only person to have this problem).

tony mays: You most likely have an older grouped aerial which is not designed to receive the frequencies now in use at the Heathfield transmitter. If you don't have satellite or cable you should be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

steinar bjerkaker: Do you neighbours in the same building get Freeview via the communal aerial? If they do, contact whoever is responsible for building management and get them to send someone out to investigate.

Judith: Is your bedroom TV connected to the same aerial as the downstairs TV? Does the bedroom TV receive HD channels on 101-105?

derek: Blaze +1 only exists on Freeview to act as a placeholder in order to reserve another channel number. It broadcasts for an hour each night (there are various other +1 channels which operate in a similar way).

roy brierley: Either your radio doesn't support DAB+ (many older DAB radios don't) or you don't have a strong enough signal on any DAB+ stations. If you provide a full postcode we will be able to see your coverage prediction and offer more specific advice.

Adam: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Do not attempt to retune. Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted coverage etc.

Williamina Flett: Because there is no transmitter that broadcasts PBS America anywhere near the Orkney Islands. If you want more channels look at getting Freesat.
