Or do you mean that you've had a new aerial fitted and are having problems with it? If the former applies, you should contact the Freeview Advice Line (see link below) who can arrange for a replacement wideband aerial to be fitted free of charge (if you don't have satellite or cable). If you've already had a new aerial fitted then you should contact whoever fitted it and ask them to rectify the problem.
Important changes to Freeview TV signals | Freeview
I'm not sure what you mean by Currys telling you to watch things on Freeview, as it sounds like that's what you're already doing. Freeview is not broadcast over the internet, so I'm not sure what you mean by having to pay more on the internet?

Marcus Parker-Rhodes: BBC1 HD and BBC2 HD have not ceased broadcasting from any transmitter in Cornwall or anywhere else, nor has there been any suggestion of those channels closing anywhere! You are either suffering from a fault or interference. If we knew which transmitter you're receiving we could check if there are any known problems (please provide a full postcode). You should check for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV as it's quite likely that there may be a fault at your end somewhere.
What makes you think that 5G mobile services will have a low takeup? The telecoms industry clearly don't think so, otherwise they wouldn't be spending billions on building out 5G networks over the next few years.

frank allen: The Bromsgrove transmitter underwent frequency changes last year, but none recently and no further changes are planned. Retuning is never a good idea when you suddenly loose signal as it will never fix a signal problem and you have now deleted channels which were previously correctly tuned. Start by checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV.

George Brown: COM7 & COM8 will broadcast until at least June 2020. There has been no date set for closure, as Ofcom have decided that the temporary multiplexes can continue broadcasting in the 700MHz centre gap (UHF channels 55 & 56) until this spectrum is brought into use by the mobile networks, which may not be until some time later than the rest of the 700MHz band.

Ian: You would be better off asking the channel, this isn't their website and no one here is likely to have access to any broadcasters future plans.

Marcus Parker-Rhodes: The Digital UK checker says that you should get a strong signal on all multiplexes from Caradon Hill. BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD, ITV HD, Channel 4 HD, Channel 5 HD & CBBC HD are all broadcast on the PSB3 multiplex, so if you get Channel 4 HD then you should certainly be getting the others. What signal strength and quality readings do you get on Channel 4 HD? It's possible that your TV may have picked up a weaker signal from Huntshaw cross, have you checked whether there are any duplicate channels in the 800 number range?

Young: Forces TV is on the COM8 multiplex, along with BBC Four HD and Quest HD. Can you receive either of those channels, or any other HD channels?
Peter: South Hampshire covers a wide area and doesn't tell us which transmitter you're receiving. If you provide a full postcode we can check whether you should be able to receive the COM8 multiplex which carries Forces TV.

Robert Lee: I don't think this website's database is up to date for DAB transmitters, there are many new transmitter sites which aren't shown on here. There are various transmitters broadcasting the BBC National DAB multiplex in the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

Mike Scofield: Retuning was a bad idea as you've now deleted the tuning data for the missing channels. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.

David: There are no plans for Alexandra Palace or any other transmitters to close. According to Digital UK, Alexandra Place will change frequencies to UHF channels 31/32/37 this summer (exact date not yet announced).
