Talk Sport is broadcast in original DAB on the D1 National multiplex, which has much wider coverage.

David : You could try a filter that cuts of frequencies below UHF channel 38 or 39, however you would loose the local TV mux from Black Hill on UHF channel 30 (all other muxes are on UHF channel 40 or higher). Does your TV have a manual tuning function? If it does, you could manually tune the wanted multiplex frequencies from Black Hill.

Pete: How many people would actually watch a channel dedicated to basic education? Most channels are run by commercial businesses who need to get lots of viewers so that they can sell advertising, new channels will only be launched if their owners think they can make a profit from it.

Whitehawk Hill is currently listed for engineering work with possible service interruptions, according to Freeview's website. There is no indication of how long it will list, but often it is only for a few hours at a time, with work usually being completed by the evening.
Do not attempt to retune whilst the work is taking place. If you have retuned already you may need to retune again once the work is completed to restore missing channels.

Erika Higginson: What are you trying to install? Channel 5's catchup service My 5 is just a website, you shouldn't need to install anything, just go to My5

Tonu: Unless your TV can somehow output its picture to the VCR then you will need a box. You're probably better of getting a PVR which records programmes to a hard drive as you will get much higher quality recordings and will be much easier to set and play back recordings (just select the programme you want and press the record button on the remote) with most being able to record 2 or more channels at a time.
