You need a receiver with the Freeview HD logo, such as the Manhattan HD-T2 (currently 39.99 on Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/…WGM) then you'll get HD channels on Freeview. Cupar broadcasts BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD, STV HD, Channel 4 HD, Channel 5 HD & CBBC HD - although the predcition for your postcode shows that you should be able to receive far more if you changed your aerial to receive Angus.

sandy huggins: I don't know who you think you're trying to contact, but this website has no connection with any broadcaster or any influence over the programs shown on any channel. Try sending your request to whichever channel you're trying to contact via their own website.

mr rob bennett: Firstly check all of the cables and connections behind your TV for anything that has become loose or damaged. Do not attempt to retune as this will delete your correctly tuned channels before searching for them again. Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitters are available to you, where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.

Peter Magee : Is everything working? What type of cable is this AV2 connection and where does the other end go to?

Tony Miller: There are no plans to add any additional multiplexes to any transmitters. The channels you refer to are broadcast on the COM7 multiplex which (along with COM8) is a temporary service being broadcast from 30 transmitters, covering around 70-75% of UK households and is due to close in 2020.

Joe Gooding: Which Goodmans model do you have? What exactly do you mean by continuous record?

Warburton: If all other muxes are at full strength then you may well be suffering with signal overload, where there is too much signal for the tuner to handle, which can give readings that look like a weak signal. By line of sight, do you mean that you are close enough to see the transmitter if the tree wasn't there? I would try an attenuator such as the one linked below which connects between your aerial and the TV and acts to reduce the signal level. There are different strengths available, so it may be worth getting 3dB, 6dB, 9dB etc and try each to see what brings the signal strength down enough to resolve the problem but without it going too low (you're aiming for a signal strength of around 70%-85%). If you need any further advice, please provide a full postcode so we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.

anthony: If you look at the Your Comments page you'll see that there are several of us who actively respond to posts asking for advice. Unfortunately none of us have access to remove spam posts such as the one above yours and presumably Briantist has other priorities.

Michael Hill: Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using and where you are in relation to it, along with your predicted signal strength etc. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? What are your signal strength and quality readings for the channels that are breaking up? You should be able to find our from your TV's menu.

Don Macleod: No, STV2 is not broadcast from Rosemarkie. It's available on Sky channel 117 in areas that have STV on 103 and is also available to watch via STV's website and smart TV/phone apps.
