Jenny Faulkner: COM7 (and COM8) are temporary multiplexes which are broadcast from 30 main transmitters covering around 75% of UK households and are expected to close in 2020. They won't be added to any additional transmitters. None of the broadcasters who have channels on COM7 (BBC, Channel 4, etc) have announced what their future plans are for their channels currently on COM7/8.

Ian Commander: There are no plans to add additional HD channels to any transmitters. The channels you refer to are on the COM7 and COM8 multiplexes which are a temporary service broadcast from 30 main transmitters which cover around 75% of UK households and are expected to close in 2020. None of the broadcasters of these channels have announced what their future plans are.

Justice Hawkins: There are no reported problems with either Waltham or Sutton Coldfield, which both broadcast Talking Pictures and show good coverage at your location. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Are you missing any other channels? Do not attempt to retune as this will only result in the missing channels being deleted and will never fix a problem with weak signal.

Austin: Panel aerials like that are one of the worst designs for a TV aerial and are essentially just a piece of wire sticking out of an amplifier. An indoor aerial that looks like a small version of a rooftop aerial is likely to give much better reception. The dB rating refers to the gain, but with that aerial it is all achieved by amplifying the (probably weak) signal along with all the noise that will also be picked up.
