As I have not had a reply to my "Quest" question on Tuesday; I can now add further information. Having done a retune on the Sony DVD Recorder and thus re-established Quest as on of the channels available. It still drops out - but only when I turn the Sony off. Leave the Sony on and Quest stays ok. As far as I know; Quest is the only channel so affected. (Signal strength on Quest is 98% and quality is 96%)

Thank you Ian & jb38.
As I said in my initial post; I use the Sandy Heath Tx. I am located in March Cambridgeshire. I found that all the 4 channels were missing so I did as you suggested - Factory Reset. That has fixed it thank you very much. It was not actually a full factory reset because some recordings on the hard drive were still there after the reset.

C38 (Quest) usually has no signal on my Sony DVD Recorder. I can do a retune and it will be there for a while. However; at those times it says "No Signal", I can go to the TV tuner and Channel 38 "Quest" is there. Both DVD Recorder and TV use the same high mounted external antenna pointed to Sandy Heath.
